RULES OF THIS FORUM
Welcome to the wonderful world of Fire Emblem. Despite the fact that this is a roll-playing forum and nothing more, we have tried as hard as we can to keep this as close to the legendary games as possible. So, hopefully you all read these rules and don't just skip around and say you read them.
NEW MEMBERS
If you are a new member, then read this section very thoroughly. To start out, you must, I repeat, must create a character bio to briefly describe your character. It will not have to be incredibly detailed but we do want you to tell us a little bit about your character. As you can see by my signature at the bottom of this section, please also put your approved stats in in your sig so as to make things easier.
On this forum, we allow you to have as many characters as you want. Many characters will probably die and I have no issue with having two of your characters talking to each other. Just realize that you do not have to create an account for every one of your characters, just the major ones that you desperately want to survive. This is Fire Emblem and if you want to create a minor character to help briefly in the plot, do so.
Perhaps this odd rule confuses you. Here is a helpful example.
Bob and Tim are on Fire Emblem: The Desert Hero. Bob roll plays Daniel, Ross, Zachary, and Dustin. Tim roll plays Frank, Janelle, Murry, and Elizabeth. Bob is in a castle being layed to siege by the team Tim is on. The two agree that Tim's character Murry, who leads the enemy army, must die here and now. So, Bob quickly writes up a bio for his new character, John, without making a new account, gets him accepted, and has him take a small (non-existant player) army to take out Murry. John is then killed in the fighting along with Murry. Tim lost a major character but Bob only lost a minor character. But Bob still has all of his major characters and the same number of accounts.
I hope this makes sense.
MONETARY SYSTEM
I'm sure many of you have been to other proboards sites where karma is used just to rate your fellow members. Well, here, we work a little different. Karma acts as money in Fire Emblem. For every one point you get, you earn 100 gold. You earn 1 point for every 2 minor enemies you kill. The mods and other members will be creating these characters for plot use and other such stuff. Please, members, do not smite a person at or under 0. We will just have to reset his charma back to 0. There is no negative cash here. Now, back to combat. If you take out a boss, which we shall also create (unless someone wants to actually be an enemy boss) then you automatically get 1000 gold. Which brings me to my next point...
COMBAT
1:No killing within the first three battle posts.
2:No killing in your first post unless you are an asassin.
3:No killing more than 1 major character per battle.
4:No killing more than 5 minor characters at a time.
5:No killing in Arena battles.
6:No double posting. These rules may be changed in certain battles if both team leaders agree.
Obviously, power-playing comes into play here as well. While you do not have to kill your character every 10 minutes, at least let a few blows land every now and then. Also, unless you have a support contract set up, THERE IS NO CONTROLLING OTHER PEOPLE'S CHARACTERS!
(This will be continued)
